Business Analysts use a variety of tools every day. Sometimes, we don't even realize we are using a tool or technique because it comes so naturally. In fact, you might be using outdated tools because you didn't realize there was a better way. Or because you didn't have the time to investigate. In this session, you will learn and practice updated BA tools and techniques that will help you "build" the right solution for your stakeholders (and not limit yourself to the solution they requested).

Speaker Bio

Jennifer Bedell has presented internationally at several conferences in person and virtually with topics related to business analysis, change management, and work-life balance. Her goal is to inspire others to be the positive influence in their projects by sharing her experiences.

Jennifer loves to look at the world through multiple perspectives. This may be why she was selected as the SME for a system replacement project back when she was a disability claims adjudicator. That project led her to roles in Quality, Business Analysis, Change Management and everything in between. She is currently managing a team of Business Analysis consultants within Mariner Innovations and is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
